Care Products Clinique's skin is bad skin?

I used to use its line of skin care in 3 steps, but when I saw a face at a spa in Las Vegas woman said that the clinic uses cheap products that are bad for the skin and can cause damage over time (spots?). I went to Prescriptives, which is more expensive and not working too well for my face. Has anyone heard anything similar? Products sold Skin Care Spa Aveda. There seems to be trying to sell me, she said the use of any other brand of stores. Clinique makes my skin very soft and clear. Now I have black spots and flares are more frequent.

This lady can be biased when she told you that. Or maybe someone was using Clinique and not use the product properly. So I'm using Oil-free acne wash and my mom doesn't have the time to buy a moisturizer but she found a Mary Kay moisturizer is it ok if I use the mary kay moisturizer after I use the oil-free acne wash Or will it mess up my face? And also on the side of my face I have dirt its it ok if I clean the dirt off with alcohol pads or will that mess up my face?
